About Compliance:
With regard to compliance: Let me begin by telling you what we don't do. We don't manufacture compliance. We do make it easy to report to those with whom a winery needs to comply.
By that I mean that there in no underlying set of thousands of computational rules which prohibit the completion of a sale. This allows the flexibility a winery owner needs (and saves on therapy sessions). We do have a set of user defined preferences to flag sales to user selected states. We do work with several compliance companies, and can work with yours, to customize the element to best serve the winery. The system will issue .pdf(s) or condensed paper pages for the reports to each state for each time period.
Compliance will continue to be a shape shifter for a while yet. We will stay up with it until the states allow ssh posting at which time we will install a button to post the reports much like our Card Tool does for payments. It's not big science ... but wait we must.
About Shipping:
Wine Sales will happily export your club batches or other sales to shipping vendors.
It will also export directly to FedX software. If you are equipped with a FedX printer you can print your shipping labels locally. You can also import FedX tracking numbers into your Wine Sales system. With a click on that tracking number Wine Sales will display the status just as if you went to the FedX web site and looked it up.
